This is a soothing natural cream that can be used as a skin moisturizer or on irritated and sore areas such as hot spot, mange and dry nose. Make sure to avoid eye contact. 

The lavender in this cream repels dogs from licking preventing further skin aggravation. 

Why I use beeswax and honey, they are natural antiseptics, in ancient times people used beeswax and honey as a healing salve.

Beeswax: We buy our beeswax from local beekeepers and clarify it ourselves to assure no chemicals or bleach is added. It is a natural antiseptic. This is another great moisturizer for dry skin and is soothing on cracked paw pads and nice for healing sores. 

Raw Honey: We buy this from our local beekeepers. Honey has been used for years as a natural wound dressing for humans and animals. In addition to it antiseptic properties it promotes healing. Honey’s natural antibacterial properties reduce the chance of infection and protect the injured area.

The secret ingredient in our handcrafted dog products is a lot of love, kind of the difference between grandma’s cooking and buying your food in a cafeteria, they use the same ingredients, but Grandma gives

Even though this was designed for dogs I have used it on my cat after she tangled with the neighbor’s cat. I cleaned the wound with peroxide and applied this cream. Her wounds healed in a short time and because animals don’t like the smell of lavender she did not lick her injuries.

The balm has a hard type beeswax mixture with a low melting temperature and warms to soften in your hand, let it slightly warm in your hand and it becomes a moisturizing rub and a soothing balm for a pet massage. It is especially nice after a long walk or hike, to rub on dry skin or help relieve and heal abrasion.

Try this on your own feet and you will feel the cool and relaxing properties that will make your dog very happy. I highly recommend dog paw massages, but have a drool rag close by.
